Sea Plane Life, conveniently right in my backyard
You're kidding, right?? This is where I live? How on Earth did I get so lucky to grow up here and call this place home. I just don't have words for the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. But I'll try.
Dungeness Spit, Olympic Peninsula, WA. Love the clouds in the distance. Even the haze adds some character to this photo. And a bit of mystery.
Dungeness Lighthouse. Wind at work on one side, calm on the other.
Just "plane" fun to take photos through the propeller. :) Good job, camera.
Some sort of small fire, but it made for a brilliant photo with the added texture.
Playing with the sun rays and the somewhat dirty plane window. But really, this is my backyard!
What beauty lies here. And everywhere. Those clouds, that sky, those islands, that water. I love it all.
I just couldn't stop taking photos of the clouds and the landscape/seascape. It gives me the chills to think that I can capture single moments in time with photography. Never again will the sky look exactly as it did in this photo. Wow. So special and so lucky to get this chance.
Hiya, big fella.
I took this at the moment we touched the water. This was possibly the most smooth landing I've ever experienced. Damn, that pilot was good!! And she was probably 10 years younger than me.
